Peter M. Vessenes
CEO & Chairman of the Board
Peter has served as a high-level corporate adviser since 1983. Projects that began with assisting presidents of Fortune 100 companies broadened to include mid-sized corporations, closely held companies, start-ups, and capital formation. Peter is a popular platform speaker and the co-author of two books, Building Your Multi-Million-Dollar Practice and The Golden Rules of Economics: The Real Way Out Of America’s Financial Crisis. His works have been published in Investment News, Wall Street On-Line, The Journal of Financial Planning, Producers Web, Horsesmouth, The Register, Financial Planning Magazine, Adviser Max, American Management Magazine, American Venture Magazine, Broker Dealer Magazine, and more. As the Founder and CEO of ProfitSee, his team has created a suite of cloud-based software tools that give accountants, bookkeepers, and consultants access to the same tools and analytics used in large corporations. These tools allow them to have proactive conversations and build strategies with their small and mid-sized business clients. ProfitSee is far more than a reporting tool providing powerful insights to manage cash flow, grow profitability, and increase valuation.

Katherine Vessenes
Board Member
Katherine Vessenes is “America’s Leading Authority on Building the Multimillion-Dollar Practice,” according to Kaplan Press. In 1989 Katherine became Vice President and Officer of the IDS Mutual Fund Group (now Ameriprise) where she was legal counsel to Gerald Ford, and other Fortune 20 CEOs. Later she created two ethics programs for advisors with American Express, in conjunction with the ICFP. She has also served on the CFP® Board of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and for two years consulted with a large broker/dealer on standardizing her “No-Sell Sale” system across their sales force. Her institutional clients include ING, H and R Block, Minnesota Mutual, Northwestern Mutual, Riversource, American Express, HD Vest, Merrill Lynch and many more. Richard Skoog, MD
Board Member
Richard is an Anesthesiologist in Minneapolis, MN, in practice for over 35 years. He is the President of Northwest Anesthesia, PA (NWA) a medical practice specializing in anesthesia with over 100 employees. NWA serves three hospitals and four outpatient surgical centers in Minnesota. In addition, Richard has served as the Vice-chairman and Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital a quaternary referral hospital in Minneapolis MN. He has also served on the Board of Directors of NWA for multiple terms. Richard grew up in Robbinsdale, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota with high distinction with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed his Internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington and his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Paul Quanrud
Board Member
Paul is an Information Security executive with over 25 years of leading Information Security programs for large, multinational companies including Cargill, GMAC ResCap, ING, and Pillsbury. In his current role, Paul is the US Practice Leader for Governance, Risk and Compliance at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) where he consults with leaders in Fortune 100 companies to manage technology risks through innovative solutions in cybersecurity, data privacy, IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and business continuity. Paul’s clients include some of the best known names in banking, financial services, insurance, transportation, manufacturing and other business sectors. Paul holds a bachelors degree in Math-Physics from Bethel University and an MBA from The University of St. Thomas.

Brooke Roberts
VICE PRESIDENT OF GLOBAL MARKETING
Brooke graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2012 with a double major in Communications and French. She has had experience at multiple advertising agencies in the Twin Cities. Brooke has been working with ProfitSee since early 2013. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling.

Hanja De Beer
Global Vice President of Support and Training
Hanja is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years experience, 18 of which have been in the UK and Europe. With a passion for business transformation, use of technology, and smarter working in businesses of all sizes and accounting practices.
Hanja has joined the ProfitSee Team, bringing her deep understanding of the accounting industry, to manage our training and support teams globally.

James Tobin
DIRECTOR OF AUSTRALIAN OPERATIONS
James has traveled and worked in the US, the UK and Australia. He has designed and run training programs for service teams to ensure they are meeting the needs of their clients. After working at Macquarie Bank for almost 10 years dealing with Superannuation and Platform Operations, James has taken the opportunity to lead the Australian business. In his spare time James enjoys bike riding, photography, and visiting new places

Thomas Wiesner
DIRECTOR OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Thomas graduated from the Graz Univeristy of Technology with his MSc. in Computer Science. Thomas is an expert in Back-End development and specializes in PHP, SQL and Java almost better than his native language. Hungry for satisfying solutions and eager for getting things done.

Sinan Zhu
Financial Management Associate
Sinan Zhu has experience in financial analysis, business valuation, and customer engagement. Her great passion is helping businesses understand how to use resources, assets, and capital to create and sustain value, profitability, and a rate of return.
While living in France for 5 years, Sinan earned her Bachelor's degree in Management from University of Clermont-Ferrand 1 and her Master's degree in Finance Engineering from the University of Caen Normandie.
With encouragement from her family and friends, she moved to Minnesota in 2013. In 2018, she earned her MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Saint Thomas.
In her free time, she loves to play outdoors with her family. She also volunteers at the Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul.

Ann Belden
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Ann has 20+ years experience fostering and building the client-partner relationship. Working in industries such as large regional airlines to small local businesses, Ann has a passion for helping build the global economy, one small business at a time. In her spare time, she likes to hike, garden, and spend time with her large family.

Victoria Schwartz
CONTROLLER
Victoria came to ProfitSee in March of 2012. After being in various Financial Management positions for 20+ years, she decided she wanted to return to “a client-focused company, whose main focus was the individual not the products.” Victoria manages all the financial matters related to running ProfitSee. Victoria spends the remainder of her time enjoying her grandchildren and lake cabin.
