Our Story
Founder Peter Vessenes created ProfitSee after more than 20 years of consulting with Fortune 100 and small to medium-size businesses. He founded the company in 2010 due to (as he puts it) “my inability to effectively clone himself.”
Winner of the “Best in Show” award at the 2010 Intuit Partner Platform Cloud Jam, ProfitSee lets business owners and finance professionals gain critical financial insights to manage cash flow and grow their business or financial practice.
ProfitSee offers an integrated suite of visual reports, budgeting tools and “what if” scenarios to help businesses and their financial advisors forecast the full effects of financial decisions. With more than 20 years in the making, ProfitSee was built over a data modeling system, which seamlessly applies multiple layers of logic.

To understand ProfitSee, it is important to understand our mission — something that makes us a little bit unique — how we approach capitalism, and what we hope to do for the general betterment of American business owners and financial advisors.
Our experience in turnarounds has shown small and mid-size businesses owners are in a lot of pain. They are constantly worrying about their business. Sometimes this fear keeps them from making good decisions about their companies, decisions that could improve their profits, their culture and employee morale, and ultimately their valuation.
ProfitSee is designed to give the business owner a simple tool — a tool that will help them reduce their stress and build a solid and profitable business. We built ProfitSee Pro especially for the financial advisor, so they can better serve their clients and successfully guide them through important financial and business decisions.

We will change the way small and mid-size business owners evaluate and leverage their resources by providing concise information and assessment tools online. By doing this, we hope to impact the broad business community through a systematic transformation of these businesses — a majority of economic growth in our country comes from them, they need help, and we will help them.
